Denny's and Dogs

This is my big head

So this is my first weekend back from Slovakia sans jet-lag. I didn't plan too much for this weekend but to relax and grill some burgers n hotdogs. So this is what we did on Friday night. After food and a couple games of beer-die, some ghost in the graveyard was played. I haven't played this since I was probably....12 or 13.

Nothing special for Saturday except for a visit from Snakes before he went fishing.
Breakfast today was held at Denny's, were all the great minds go to eat. Kevin and Katie had matching Lumberjack Slams...how cute. I had country fried steak and eggs with an english muffin ~ a very nontraditional breakfast for this Irishman. Let me tell you, this uncommon choice hit the spot! After our bellies were full it was off to Best Buy to look at some toys. I have been in the market for a new dSLR. The D80 is #1 on my list, but I am not sure if I am ready to take to plunge yet. When we got home we took Stink dog #2 and #3 to the park to tire them out. It was a good time but, again I found out that Maceo doesn't like to listen to me when there are more interesting smells to sniff. Eventually we were able to play fetch. Bailey actually played fetch with me too...

I actually took this pic...

Welcome to the blogging world...can I handle this?

Hello to all you interwebnet readers. So here is me first attempt at this. I hear people. I hope all goes well....

Dunn, this is all for you. I hope you enjoy it.

I am writing from the great Nation of Slovakia. Wow never thought I would type those words. I just got finished cooking my first meal since I have been here. I arrived tired, and maybe somewhat hungover, to Slovakia Feb 11, 08. Today is Apr 13, I mean Apr 14th 08.

I just got finished making dinner and thought I would take some advice from the Fun Factory, which by the way is only operating at 86.54% fun capacity. On the menu was spaghetti with some sort of really sweet tomato sauce. Also I threw some canned fish. I think it was tuna, but it had peas in it. Have you ever seen tuna in a can w/peas? I haven't, until about an hour ago. All together not a bad meal. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against peas. In fact I like peas. I just thought it was strange to find them in my tuna.

So for my next adventure I am going to tackle the task of cropping, editing, and uploading some pictures...I should be able to handle this. Right? I mean I can replace a clutch on a 1988 Nissan Truck equipped with a Z24 engine and 4 spd tranny with my eyes closed. Well OK, not with my eyes closed...but I can do it.
